This American Vintage ’57 Precision Bass, finished in White Blonde, pays tribute to this landmark instrument with accurate detailing, including the electronics and hardware. From the split single coil pickups to the vintage tuning machines and nitrocellulose lacquer finish, this is a true Fender classic. Other fine features include a gold anodized aluminum pickguard, a maple neck with a C profile, maple fretboard with black dot inlays, chrome hardware and vintage style bridge and pickup covers. This bass comes with a vintage tweed hard shell case.<\/p>\n

Quando Don Randall, direttore vendite Fender, richiese un modello di basso più sofisticato e “high-end”, il risultato fu l’ormai iconico Jazz Bass. Il manico fu reso più sottile al capotasto, con una risposta più veloce e scorrevole, e il nuovo body slanciato rispecchiava lo stile del profilo asimmetrico della Jazzmaster. Nel corso del 1966, l’evoluzione dello strumento raggiunse nuove altezze con nuove importanti caratteristiche.
Il Jazz Bass American Vintage II 1966 è dotato di un comodo manico in acero canadese con profilo ad “U” dalla suonabilità imbattibile, con una tastiera in palissandro round-lam (cioè dal fondo concavo) con raggio da 7.25″, e tasti dall’altezza vintage.
Caratteristico della produzione del 1966, questo J-Bass viene offerto con binding bianco del manico, segnatasti in madreperla, due controlli del volume con tono, paletta verniciata in tinta e battipenna tartarugato a 4 strati. Il ponte a 4 sellette filettate, le meccaniche “lollipop” in stile vintage e i pickup Pure Vintage ‘66 Jazz Bass ricreano lo stile classico e la sua potente sonorità.
